2025 Scholarship and Grant Update
This morning we had the honor to attend Redeemer’s Grammar School Celebration, where three young people were awarded scholarships from the Jennifer Rose Kindley Memorial Scholarship and Grant, Inc, a non profit we founded to honor our Jen’s memory and legacy. Jenny taught second grade at Redeemer. Teaching reading, teaching in general, was her passion. We are pleased and proud to be able to assist these beautiful children in the 2025-2026 school year.

New Library for Elementary Age Students
We had the opportunity to visit Redeemer Classical Christian School today and see the progress on the new library for elementary age students. It’s a work in progress, they are going through the books and organizing. As part of our “Grant” allowance, we have donated towards the purchase of books for the library. The Lily Pad artwork for the room is a wonderful touch in Jen’s honor. Thank you to those who have donated towards the purchase of books for the library; we will keep you posted on the library’s progress. Thank you, Jen would be pleased!

2024 Scholarship and Grant Update
Jennifer Rose Kindley Memorial Scholarship and Grant, Inc.
We are very pleased to announce that the two recipients of the Jennifer Rose Kindley Memorial Scholarship will receive their awards at the school's ceremony the first week of June. Those who knew Jenny are aware of how strongly she felt about childhood literacy. Glenn, the school principal, sent me some of the text from their families' applications, I thought I'd share:
What role does reading play in your home and family life?
"Reading is an essential life skill and a vital part of our family life. We enjoy reading our Bibles together, talking about a good book at the dinner table, and sharing memories of our favorite stories. We seek to read material that will develop character, enrich vocabulary, and provide opportunity for critical thinking. We strive to avoid screen time and television during the week, however reading books has a very liberal amount of time allotted. A person that chooses to read rather then spend time using a screen learns to be quietly content."
"We believe a strong reader is more confident in conversation with others. A strong reader is able to obtain information when needed and may become strongly independent. Most importantly, a strong reader is able to seek truth by reading God's living word."
We are very proud of these children, both 2nd grade students at Redeemer Classical Christian School, where Jenny taught. We wish them well on their journey through school and hope this award encourages them to do their very best, as that is what Jenny always strived for in her teaching.
Donations for the 2024-2025 scholarship award may be made through the website, JRKMS.org, along with information about Jenny and Redeemer Classical Christian School. Every bit helps. We are coming up on the third anniversary of her passing, what a better way to honor her memory.
Thank you for your love and support!
